FAQ

What happens during a consultation?
A consultation is an essential part of your hair journey! We’ll discuss your hair goals, lifestyle, maintenance preferences, and any inspiration photos you may have. I’ll analyze your hair texture, condition, and natural colour to create a personalized plan for your cut, colour, or treatment. This is also a great time to ask any questions and get expert advice on what works best for you. I recommend bringing inspiration photos and any details about your hair history (such as past colour treatments or chemical services).
-
Do you require deposits for appointments?
Yes, to secure your booking, a deposit is required at the time of scheduling. This deposit will be applied toward your service on the day of your appointment.
What should I do if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Life happens! I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows me to offer the appointment to another client. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.
-
Will my colour or cut cost more if my hair is long or thick?
Color pricing is based on time, technique, and product usage. Longer, thicker hair typically requires more product and time to achieve the desired result, which may affect the final price. Cutting and finishing thicker longer hair also requires more time and advance techniques. During your consultation, I’ll give you a detailed quote so you know exactly what to expect.
-
How should I prepare for my haircut appointment?
If possible, arrive with clean, dry hair styled as you normally wear it—this helps me see how your hair naturally falls. However, if you’re coming in for a wash and style as part of your service, no prep is needed! I recommend bringing inspiration photos and any details about your hair history (such as past colour treatments or chemical services)

Long Hair: Every 8 -14 weeks
Root Refreshening: Every 4-6 weeks

How far in advance should I book my appointment to ensure availability?
I recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance, especially for colour and blonding services, as my schedule fills up quickly. If you have a specific date or time in mind, booking even earlier is best. For maintenance appointments, I can help set up your next visit before you leave to ensure you get the perfect time slot!
